What is the Hatch?

The Hatch is an early stage social innovation accelerator that gets your idea for social impact up and running fast! It is designed for entrepreneurs and idea-makers who have a rough idea of what they would like to create, but need a process and the support to give it structure, purpose, and potential.

The Hatch will give you the skills and networks to create innovative and sustainable social ventures that generate social and environmental impact.

We will work with you to shape and refine your vision into a living, breathing, sustainable and scalable social enterprise.

What is the Hatch process?

The Hatch is about deep idea development not simply spreadsheets and financial plans. Incorporating human-centered design, lean startup practices, spiritual formation, and the power of peer community, the Hatch is an intense and creative process. You will have the opportunity to learn from mentors, industry experts, customer prospects, and investors as well as develop the skills necessary to build these relationships for long-term success.

What is the commitment?

• The Hatch starts June 3-7 with a deep dive intensive in Atlanta at CenterForm.
• During the following nine weeks, you will be back in your context, working through the specifics of your idea alongside virtual-based instruction and meetups with your cohort and mentors.
• The accelerator culminates November 30th in Atlanta at the Hatch Pitch, where you will pitch your social enterprise in front of a panel and audience to compete for prize money.
• Tuition is $2500.* A limited number of scholarships are available (see application).
